Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation Hands Over Appointment Letters to 11 Students at India’s Largest Placement Drive
A milestone moment at Alva’s Pragati 2026 as candidates receive on-the-spot offers.
Moodbidri, Karnataka — August 9, 2026
Eleven students walked away with tentative appointment letters in hand as Alva’s Pragati 2026, India’s largest placement drive, came to a close on the evening of August 8, 2026. The offers came from Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation, which also shortlisted 25 further candidates during the drive.
The letters were presented in person by Mr. Gunesh Bharathiya, Founder Chairman of Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation, and Ms. Sri Anagha KR, representing the Foundation’s Advisory Council, to all eleven selected candidates.
The moment held additional meaning given that Mr. Gunesh Bharathiya is an alumnus of Alva’s Education Foundation, having completed his pre-university and degree education there before establishing the Foundation. Faculty members and deans of Alva’s pre-university and degree colleges, together with Honourable Chairperson Dr. Mohan Alva and Managing Trustee Mr. Vivek Alva, were pleased to see him return to campus in this capacity, calling it a genuine homecoming.
Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation continues to work closely with educational institutions to translate training and capacity-building efforts into tangible employment outcomes for students.
